Amy Austin Holmes asked to use one particular work of street-art I created in Cairo circa 2011 for the cover of her book, COUPS AND REVOLUTIONS from Oxford University Press. The particular photograph used (my favorite) is one taken by JoAnna Pollanais. 

I also consulted on the type treatment and overall design of the dust jacket. 

Ten years since that piece was originally painted and I think it’s only increasingly become one of the most emblamatic works of street-art from that period. I would even go as far as to say that it still holds true as a reflection of the situation in Egypt today.
