Speculative reimagining of a Houston working towards future-proofing itself against the ravaging effects of climate change. Created in collaboration with anthropologist Dominic Boyer and one of his classes at Rice University, the project imagines six megaprojects that could ostensibly transform Houston into a true utopia capable of surviving the ages. The project also doubles as a branding excercise for a city that has no strong or unified branding to speak of. The city’s informal HTX abbreviation was chosen as the very basis upon which to build the campaign‘s imagery.
