Acrylic Paint on Asphalt
Performative mural for Theater Festival Basel created with the assistance of Daniel Kunzler. Festival goers were asked to volunteer by playing dead. Their bodies used to illustrate the figure outlines. White paint used to signify the number of deaths during the Egyptian revolution, compared to yellow outlines illustrating the number of annual deaths by gunshot in the United States.
In light of this information, festival goers were asked whether or not Switzerland should ban arms exports to the United States.
