A series of 2-color screenprints. The Arabic text translates to: “Of Course the Army Protected the Revolution”, a snarky juxtaposition to the imagery.
In order of appearance:
1-Mona Altahawy: Both arms broken by officers mid-protest in November 2011.
2- Blue Bra Lady: Beat in the middle of a protest in December, 2011.
3- Ahmad Harara: Lost right eye in a protest on January 28, 2011. Left eye in a protest on November 19, 2011.
4- Sheikh Emad Effat: Shot dead in a protest on December 15, 2011.
