Cairo, EG

8x8 was a black and white contemporary socio-cultural publication I designed and edited in 2005. It was bilingual and filled with comix, poetry, essays, photography, fiction and more. It was funded by Cafe’ Inch, which was interested in having a publication exclusive to the Cafe’s branches.

The magazine however only lasted for its inaugural issue and was subsequently discontinued, and soon thereafter the cafe folded as well.
