1-Color Offset Print Booklet + 2-Color Offset Print Self-Cover + Staple Binding

8x8 was a black and white “contemporary socio-cultural” publication I designed and edited in 2005. It was bilingual and filled with comix, poetry, essays, photography, fiction and more by Hatem Aly, Karim Hany, Sarah Khanna, and others. It was funded by Cafe’ Inch, which was interested in having a publication exclusive to the Cafe’s branches. 

The magazine however only lasted for its inaugural issue and was subsequently discontinued, and soon thereafter the cafe itself folded as well.
